“Investors historically not only underperform professional asset_management, but also do so with greater risk”
Our perspective is that only through persistent financial education can individuals gain the ability to discern between superior and inferior asset management advice/decisions. The decisions that investors make or fail to make can be the difference between being forced to work past the age of retirement and successfully achieving their financial goals. Whether an individual investor chooses to manage their own investments (requiring a greater deal of asset management comprehension) or work with a financial professional, a minimum level of financial competence is required to assure appropriate strategic execution and/or investment oversight.
