Choosing an Investment Advisor

As an individual investor or a company looking for professional services in the Financial Industry, the process can be confusing, misleading, and difficult to evaluate.

On average, large financial institutions provide very little information on portfolio risks and returns on monthly , quarterly, or annual statements. Furthermore, many of the individuals representing these institutions have mainly an "experiential" education in the business, lacking the academic foundations needed to appropriately apply the mathematical finance to minimize risk and improve asset performance. Unfortunately, most of their time is spent on "selling" instead of the newest applications of academic and scientific research (if you are unsure about your advisor, or a potential advisor, take a look at our "Advisor Efficacy Request Form")
